Cadence Magazine Review; by David Kane

The only thing I have to say in the way of criticism is about the addition of the string quartet that contributes little more than padding. They sound good but, frankly, the jazz quartet does just fine without them and their contributions merely gild the lily. That small point aside, Metaphora is an excellent CD and like the other CDs under consideration here, I give it a hearty recommendation.
